2. Is GoAdventa free to use?

  • Answer: Yes! Individuals can sign up and use our core planning tools for free. We also offer specialized accounts for schools and organizations to manage larger group trips.

Using the Trip Planner

3. How does the AI Trip Planner work?

  • Answer: Our AI tool helps you discover new destinations based on your starting location, how far you’re willing to drive, and your preferred activity level. Just enter your zip code and preferences, and the AI will suggest campsites and activities tailored to you.

4. Can I plan a trip if I already have a destination in mind?

  • Answer: Absolutely. You can manually enter your known location and campground, then use our Menu Builder and Gear Suggestion tools to round out the rest of your plan.

Food & Gear

5. Does the Menu Builder account for dietary restrictions?

  • Answer: Yes. When you create a profile, you can list restrictions such as "No Nuts," "Gluten-Free," "Vegan," or "Dairy-Free." Our system uses this information to help you build a safe and delicious menu for everyone on the trip.

6. How do the Gear Suggestions work?

  • Answer: Based on your activity (e.g., backpacking vs. car camping) and the difficulty level, our tool generates a custom packing list. This ensures you don't forget the essentials, whether you’re a beginner or an expert.

Accounts & Organizations

7. What is the difference between an Individual and a Group account?

  • Answer: Individual accounts are for personal use or planning with friends. Group accounts (Student/Teacher) allow schools or organizations to coordinate larger trips, track member dietary needs, and maintain a centralized plan for the whole crew.

8. My school or organization isn't listed. How do I add it?

  • Answer: If your group is new to GoAdventa, select "Sign Up" and choose the "Group Member" option. You’ll see a link to "Add a school/group not listed" where you can provide the details and verification to get your organization started.

9. What should I do if I have a "Join Code"?

  • Answer: If a teacher or leader invited you to a specific trip, click "I have a Join Code" on the login page. This will link your account directly to that group’s specific adventure.
